The Hotel
The Kilbirnie Hotel was originally built in the late 1930’s as one of the first hotels on Narrowcliff in Newquay and has seen many others come and go since then.
Originally a small family run hotel, it has seen several transformations over the years and has changed owners and styles in keeping with the times. (Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales even paid us a visit several years ago for a ‘Cornwall Duchy Luncheon’)
Today we offer a bright contemporary style and try to make the most of the stunning views right on our doorstep, whilst continuing to aim for that ‘family feel’ about the place and we like to think of ourselves as a ‘home from home’ for our guests, with many returning year after year.
The name of the hotel has never changed and is presumably related to the town with the same name in Scotland, from where we believe the first owners came from.
